Yogi govt aims to complete four-lane Panchkosi Parikrama Marg before November

The four-lane is being constructed at a cost of Rs 473.22 crore

Ahead of the Panchkosi Parikrama in Ayodhya this November, the Yogi government is expediting the construction and road widening of the four-lane Parikrama Marg to ensure its completion. The Public Works Department has reported that 55 percent of the work on the project has been completed so far.

The central and state governments are investing vast sums into various development projects in Ayodhya, focusing on improving infrastructure and accommodating the influx of devotees. The Panchkosi Parikrama, a major religious event, draws lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad.

To facilitate a smoother and more accessible route for the devotees, the Yogi government has undertaken the construction of a four-lane road at a cost of Rs 473.22 crore. The construction of Panchkosi Parikrama Marg, which spans 9.025 kilometers, began on October 16, 2023. With the project already over halfway completed, the government is on track to provide a more efficient and comfortable experience for the devotees attending the Parikrama this year.
